How do you turn on the under wing courtesy lights on a cessna 172?

It’s the same switch that turns on the rear cabin lights it should be right above your head in the middle of the cabin.
You know, I never knew what those lights were. I always just used them during night landings so I would be more visible. Thanks for teling me what they really are. The switch is above your head. I thinks its the middle switch.
sometimes the switch for those is on the aft doorpost.
