In its continuing investigation of an incident in which a United Airlines Airbus A-320 jetliner departed the runway during landing at Wyoming's Jackson Hole Airport on the evening of February, 25, 2008, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has developed the following factual information during its on-scene investigation.
The National Transportation Safety Board sent two investigators to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to investigate an incident in which a United Airlines jet veered off the side of a runway.
In its continuing investigation of an uncontained engine failure that occurred on a Southwest Airlines flight from Dallas, Texas (Love Field), to Little Rock, Arkansas, on November 17, 2007, the National Transportation Safety Board is revising and broadening its search for engine components that fell to the ground in a sparsely populated rural area of Texas.
